Shortly before 10 a.m. on Friday, July 8, deputies from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office stopped Severn's Tiffany Rose Griffith, 32, on Route 4 in the area of Bowen Road in Huntingtown following multiple complaints of an erratic driver.
During the subsequent stop, Griffith was unable to safely operate her motor vehicle, and the driver readily admitted that she was under the influence of cocaine, a spokesperson said.
A clear glass container containing suspected cocaine, a clear bag containing 41 pink pills, and a cut pink straw in a $20 bill were seized, the sheriff said.
Griffith was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where she was charged with:
- Controlled Dangerous Substances: possession of not marijuana;
- Controlled Dangerous Substances: possession of paraphernalia;
- Multiple traffic-related charges.
No return court date has been announced by the sheriff’s office.
